Who we are

GetMulticast ("we," "us") operates the software at getmulticast.com, which lets you generate short-form video content and publish it to your own connected social media accounts.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and password (password is never stored in plain text — Firebase Authentication handles this on our behalf using industry-standard hashing).
• Content you create: topics, scripts, generated videos, thumbnails, captions, and any source material (text, URLs, uploaded PDFs, audio, or images) you provide to generate content.
• Connected social accounts: when you connect a platform, we store an OAuth access token and account identifiers (for example, your Facebook Page ID, Instagram Business Account ID, or Threads user ID) needed to act on your behalf. For Instagram, Facebook, and Threads, GetMulticast connects directly to Meta's own Graph API — we request only the permissions needed to publish posts you create, and to read and reply to comments on those posts, on the specific Page/account you connect, and (where you grant it) to read the performance insights for your own posts and account. For YouTube, GetMulticast connects directly to Google's YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API (see "YouTube API Services and Google user data" below). For other platforms, we use our publishing provider, Upload-Post.com, to publish on your behalf. In all cases, we do not see or store your social media passwords.
• Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store your subscription status and plan, but your card details are never stored on our servers — Stripe handles that directly.
• Usage data: which features you use and how many runs you generate, so we can enforce your plan's limits and improve the product.

Analytics from your connected accounts

To show you how your content performs, GetMulticast reads statistics about your own connected accounts and posts from each platform's official API, and stores them so you can see trends over time. Depending on the platform and the permissions you grant, this includes: post metrics (views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, watch time), follower counts over time, the comments people leave on your posts, and aggregated audience demographics (for example age range, gender, country, city, device type and traffic source). Demographics are always aggregated by the platform; we never receive the identity of individual viewers.

We use this data only to show you Analytics dashboards, reports you create or schedule, best-time-to-post suggestions and AI-written summaries of your own performance. If you use AI summaries or comment mood labelling, the relevant numbers or comment text are sent to our AI text provider only to produce that result for you.

YouTube API Services and Google user data

GetMulticast uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

• What we access: your channel's name, ID and subscriber count; your videos and their public statistics; comments on your videos (to show them to you and send replies you approve); and YouTube Analytics reports for your channel (views, watch time, subscribers gained and lost, and aggregated audience age, gender, country, city, device and traffic source).
• Why: to publish videos you create, to show and reply to comments, and to show your channel's performance in GetMulticast Analytics and reports. We do not use YouTube data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to provide these features to you.
• Storage: we store this data in our Google Cloud (Firebase) database and refresh it regularly while your channel is connected.
• Revoking access: you can disconnect your channel in GetMulticast (Settings → Accounts) or revoke GetMulticast's access at any time from your Google security settings.
• Deletion: when you disconnect a YouTube channel in GetMulticast, we delete its stored YouTube data within 7 days (in practice immediately). If you revoke access from Google's settings instead, we delete it within 30 days. You can also ask us to delete it at any time by emailing privacy@getmulticast.com.

GetMulticast's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use it

• To generate the content you request and publish it to platforms you've connected.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To provide customer support if you contact us.
• To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third-party services we use

Generating and publishing content requires sending your inputs to specialized providers. Depending on which options you choose, this may include:

• Google Firebase — hosting, authentication, and database (Google Cloud infrastructure).
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Upload-Post.com — publishing to your connected social platforms not covered by a direct integration below.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. — for accounts you connect directly on Instagram, Facebook, or Threads, we use Meta's Graph API to publish the posts you create and to read/reply to comments on them, using an access token you grant when you connect your account. You can revoke this access at any time from your Instagram, Facebook, or Threads account settings, or by disconnecting the account inside GetMulticast.
• AI generation providers — depending on which model you select: Agnes AI, Google (Veo, Imagen, Gemini/Nano Banana), Kling, Runway, fal.ai (Framepack), Luma, MiniMax, ElevenLabs, OpenAI (Whisper), and OpenRouter (for script/caption writing).

Each of these providers processes the specific data needed to perform their function (e.g., your script text is sent to the AI model you selected to generate a video). We choose providers that publish their own privacy and security practices, but we encourage you to review the policies of any provider whose model you actively use.

Data retention

We retain your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. Imported posts and analytics are kept for up to 24 months so you can compare periods. When you disconnect an account, we stop collecting its data, delete its access token and imported posts, and delete YouTube data as described above; other history for that account can be deleted on request. If you delete your account, we delete your associated data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (e.g., payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. If you're in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA respectively, including the right to data portability and to object to certain processing.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and Google Cloud's security infrastructure. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children's privacy

GetMulticast is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of GetMulticast after a change means you accept the updated policy.
