Who we are

GetMulticast ("we," "us") operates the software at getmulticast.com, which lets you generate short-form video content and publish it to your own connected social media accounts.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and password (password is never stored in plain text — Firebase Authentication handles this on our behalf using industry-standard hashing).
• Content you create: topics, scripts, generated videos, thumbnails, captions, and any source material (text, URLs, uploaded PDFs, audio, or images) you provide to generate content.
• Connected social accounts: when you connect a platform (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), we store only what's needed to publish on your behalf via our publishing provider, Upload-Post.com — we do not see or store your social media passwords.
• Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store your subscription status and plan, but your card details are never stored on our servers — Stripe handles that directly.
• Usage data: which features you use and how many runs you generate, so we can enforce your plan's limits and improve the product.

How we use it

• To generate the content you request and publish it to platforms you've connected.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To provide customer support if you contact us.
• To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third-party services we use

Generating and publishing content requires sending your inputs to specialized providers. Depending on which options you choose, this may include:

• Google Firebase — hosting, authentication, and database (Google Cloud infrastructure).
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Upload-Post.com — publishing to your connected social platforms.
• AI generation providers — depending on which model you select: Agnes AI, Google (Veo, Imagen, Gemini/Nano Banana), Kling, Runway, fal.ai (Framepack), Luma, MiniMax, ElevenLabs, OpenAI (Whisper), and OpenRouter (for script/caption writing).

Each of these providers processes the specific data needed to perform their function (e.g., your script text is sent to the AI model you selected to generate a video). We choose providers that publish their own privacy and security practices, but we encourage you to review the policies of any provider whose model you actively use.

Data retention

We retain your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (e.g., payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. If you're in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights under GDPR/CCPA respectively, including the right to data portability and to object to certain processing.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and Google Cloud's security infrastructure. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children's privacy

GetMulticast is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of GetMulticast after a change means you accept the updated policy.
